Between the time this issue was planned and the time it goes to print, the world has shifted dramatically. And no more so than for teachers.
I’m writing this from my kitchen bench as one child draws in front of me and the other has a Facetime piano lesson upstairs. I’ve spent hours on Zoom and in Google Classroom today and my eyes are sore from screens. I understand completely what a radical and impossible shift the change in practice has been and I am in awe of how our profession has done this with grace, kindness and an attitude that has made it possible. I applaud all of you for doing this work.
